PHOTO GALLERY: The Ultimate Homecoming

November 17, 2015

Homecoming is a cherished tradition at N.C. Central University. Alumni literally “come home” and students welcome them back to their alma mater. Some are saying that the 2015 homecoming lived up to its billing as the “Ultimate Homecoming.”

Events kicked off with the Gospel Concert. Students, faculty, administrators and alumni witness a thrilling  Eagle football victory over the Norfolk State Spartans 24-16 when Quarterback Malcom Bell nailed several touchdown passes in the last quarter.

Students showcased their talents throughout the week at events like the aforementioned Choir Ball, the Ultimate Dance and the Fashion Battle, and the Step Show. NxLevel won the Fashion Battle and Sigma Gamma Rhos and the Iotas swept the Step Show competitions.

Kourtney Daniel-Robinson was crowned Miss NCCU, and Omari Collins was crowned Mr. NCCU. To wrap up events a Hip Hop Concert at Durham Performing Arts Center featured Big Sean, Rich Homie Quan, Rapsody, and Roland Champaine.
