Barber and others march to the polls, stress importance of Southern voters
On the first day of early voting for the 2016 presidential election, N.C. NAACP President Rev. Dr. William Barber II held a press conference at N.C. Central University’s Hoey Circle. NCCU students and bystanders circled around Barber as he stood behind the podium at the press conference to talk about the challenges North Carolina citizens are facing, even though the 4th Circuit Federal Court overturned a variety of North Carolina voting restrictions.
